Ocean bar & grill International Seafood Restaurant and fresh seafood delicatessen are truly exciting new additions to the Budapest restaurant and hospitality scene. Our focus is to offer the people of Budapest tantilising seafood dishes and offering the freshest high quality seafood products and related products. While a number of restaurants are serving a few seafood dishes, our goal is no less than to redefine the term „fresh seafood dishes” for the Budapest audience.

To do this we will need to educate and create awareness about the true freshness of different types of seafood, offer quality fresh seafood at prices which make it more accessible.

Scientists are constantly proving how healthy seafood is for humans and it is shocking to know how little we eat of these very tasty dishes compared to the suggested amount or to the consumption of nations that are widely recognized as „healthy people”. In Hungary, being a landlocked country, most of the fish served in restaurants come from rivers and lakes. However, as we are travelling more and more we constantly realize that seafood is delicious and a real treat. Our intention is to bring you the tasty seafood dishes from the different cornersof the world and we are also open to your memories and suggestions of great dishes that you have encountered in the course of your travelling.

The big emphasis is on the main ingredients: we ensure fresh, good quality base material through purchasing from a member of our group in Italy, a seafood processing plant and delivering the fish to Hungary very swiftly. We did not want to limit ourselves to the Scandinavian fish supplies, however, thus we have set up working connections with a major Mediterranean supplier as well. This way we can make sure that you will always get the best quality fish and shellfish both in our restaurant and deli.

In our deli you can find mostly the fish and shellfish items from our Norwegian company and some of the condiments that are traditionally connected to these products in Scandinavia. On our website and in our deli we are pleased to give you tips on buying, storing and cooking fish, as well as some of our chefs’ best recipe suggestions.

Óceán bár & grill is open from noon to midnight and the Óceán Delicatessen is open from tuesday trough saturday from 10.00am to 9.00pm.
